    Meet the "Belles"   

 

Kelly Francis - hails from Raleigh, North Carolina and holds a BFA degree in musical theater from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. Kelly was selected as a Grease Academy finalist for "Sandy" in NBC's show "You're the One That I Want." New York credits include Personal Space Theatrics annual production of  A Christmas Carol. Kelly has done a variety of commercials including Maybelline, and Kentucky Fried Chicken. She has played the role of Carrie Millfield on Law and Order SVU. Some of her favorite roles include Amalia Balash in She Loves Me, Laurey in Oklahoma, Cinderella in Cinderella, and Anne in A Little Night Music, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof and Robin in Godspell. Kelly is very excited to be joining the American Belles! 

 

Christina Hernandez - Born and raised in Odessa, Texas, Christina graduated from Texas Tech University with a BFA in Theater. Since moving east to the Big Apple, she has toured nationally in the Broadway musical "Rent" as Alexi/Mimi, and most recently as a vocalist with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. She has been featured in several national commercials such as Conair Hair, Lucielle Roberts, and Finishing Touch en Espanol. Television credits include Conan O'Brien, All My Children, As the World Turns, SNL, and The Colbert Report. Christina has enjoyed entertaining our troops and veterans all over the globe as a member of the USO World Show Troupe, "American Spirit," and is proud to keep the spirit going as a member of the American Belles!

 

Sophia Hinshelwood - From the Sunshine State of Florida, Sophia graduated from the New World High School of the Arts in Miami and holds a degree in Theater from Northwestern University.  Off-Broadway credits: I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.  Regional credits: The All Night Strut, Over the Rainbow, Sunday in the Park with George, and Ain’t Misbehavin.  She has had the honor of singing the National Anthem for the Chicago White Sox twice during their World Series winning season. In addition, her experiences performing with her collegiate all-female a cappella group Significant Others, fostered her love for alto harmony and girl power! She has appeared in numerous commercials, and you won't want to miss seeing Sophia on the silver screen where she portrays the part of the reporter in the current box office hit Batman: The Dark Knight. Sophia is thrilled to be an American Belle!

 

 

Jennifer Johns - Originally from Silver Spring, Maryland, Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Stetson University. She has toured the world with the USO Liberty Belles and with the critically acclaimed American Belles. Favorite roles include: Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Sandy in Grease, Peggy in 42nd Street, Olivia in Twelfth Night, and Woman 2 in My Way: A Tribute to Frank Sinatra (Original Cast). In NYC, The Broadway Exchange w/the Rockettes, Rainbow Room w/The Cab Calloway Orchestra, Birdland w/ the Duke Ellington Orchestra, and The Supper Club w/ Liza Minelli. Television roles include All My Children, One Life to Live, SNL, Strangers with Candy. Film- Moulin Rouge, Hairspray, Garden State, Kate and Leopold.  Jennifer is co-founder of Broadway Artists Alliance in NYC.

 

 

 

 

Natalie Loftin - is a proud native of Plano, Texas! A graduate of Oklahoma City University with a BA in Music Theatre, she has starred as Susan in Tick...Tick...Boom! at the Off-Off Broadway Wow Theatre. Regional Theatre credits include Kathy in High School Musical - North Shore Music Theatre, Kim in Show Boat - Casa Manana Theatre, and A Wonderful Life - Paper Mill Playhouse. Natalie was a NYC finalist for the role of Elle Woods on the MTV Reality Show Legally Blonde the Musical: the search for the next Elle Woods. She can be seen playing a principal role in the recently released Graymark Productions Film, "Soul's Midnight” starring Armand Assante. In 2005, Natalie was offered a record deal with Epic/Sony Records and her pop single Burn was released to iTunes and national radio. She feels blessed and honored to be a new member of the American Belles!

 

 

Jennifer Noth - This native Texan is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Following her graduation from NYU, Jennifer was crowned Miss New York City! She has toured nationally in the hit musical Grease with Frankie Avalon where she performed the role of Betty Rizzo.  Regional theatre credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cabaret, And the World Goes Round, Jekyll & Hyde, South Pacific, Guys & Dolls, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Sweeney Todd, The Library, and Fiddler on the Roof.  She has also performed on Celebrity and Princess Cruise Lines. National commercials include Nokia and REMAX.  Jennifer is proud to be a member of the American Belles and would like to thank our troops for the many sacrifices they make to keep America safe.

   

Victoria Reed - Born and raised in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Victoria is the producer and director of the American Belles. She has toured nationally and internationally in Showboat, Mame,  Annie and Phantom and can be heard on the original cast recording of Phantom  (Kopit/Yeston).  Victoria produced, directed and performed in USO shows for 10 years!  She was the entertainment director for the USO in New York from 1997 -  2002 and then joined USO World Headquarters from 2003 - 2006, creating the Liberty Belles and American Spirit. She and her troupes have performed for U.S. military and veterans around the globe to include Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Bosnia, Norway, Italy, Germany, Spain, England, Luxembourg, Japan, Korea, Guam and throughout the U.S.  She is a member of Actors' Equity, Screen Actors Guild and currently serves as a regional vice president for the American Guild of Variety Artists. Victoria is a former Miss Maine.

 

 

 

 

Sasha Sloan - This sunny Southern California native is now proud to call New York City home! Our youngest Belle, Sasha recently graduated from Howard University in Washington, DC with a BFA degree in musical theater. Not only can she do a mean Ms. Swan impression, but Sasha also has some credits to her name! Some of her favorite roles include Diana Morales in A Chorus Line, Yvonne in The Story, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and Sarah (US) in Ragtime at Lincoln Center in Washington, DC. Her New York City credits include three new musical workshops: Lay Your Hands on Me, History of the Word, and Rosa Parks, as well as numerous television commercials. Film: Father's Day (2008) and Faces (2008). Sasha is delighted to be joining these amazing women called the American Belles!!
